On behalf of the children, the staff team and our Local Governing Body, I would like to bestow a very warm welcome to Sherborne Abbey CE Primary School! As a church school our Christian values underpin all aspects of school life and are the foundation of our welcoming and inclusive school community. We truly believe that:

At Sherborne Abbey CE Primary School we value each and every one of our children as individuals, and every member of our team is committed to providing a rich learning environment. We embrace all areas of learning and are particularly proud of the fact that we fully celebrate success in sport, art and performing arts as important aspects of a child’s development, alongside an excellent foundation in English and Maths.

Our children benefit hugely from high quality teaching and learning provided by our very experienced team, a wide range of after school clubs, and wrap around childcare provision that enables working parents to juggle family life.

An integral part of being a church school for us, is to teach and encourage our children to live their lives with a moral compass, and use our Christian values to help our children understand how they can do the right thing every day.

I am very proud to be the Head of School here at Sherborne Abbey, and would love to show you around and let you experience a true Abbey welcome for yourself.
